PROSPeR with Waiting Well (Perioperative Social Prescribing)
PROSPeR is part of the North East and North Cumbria NHS ‘Waiting Well’ programme in which specilaist link workers support people on the waiting list for orthopedic surgery, improving health and wellbeing for the operation and beyond.
SPACE Pilot (Social Prescribing And Community REsources for Children and Young People)
SPACE Pilot is a partnership between Ways to Wellness, the Great North Children's Hospital and Newcastle University. Specialist link workers support families in a number of ways, including emotional and practical support.
Persistent Physical Symptoms
A prototype supporting those with chronic pain, fatigue or other symptoms, providing personalised, practical support to enable people to make decisions to improve their health and wellbeing outcomes.

Suicide Prevention Network Grants 2022/23
The 2022/23 Suicide Prevention Network grants were managed by Ways to Wellness. Grants of £10,000-£50,000 were available to VCSE organisations for projects based in Tyne and Wear.

Long-term Conditions
The Ways to Wellness long-term conditions service led to the founding of the charity. While it is now closed, its success over 10 years until 2025, supported the development of our other projects.

Maternal Mental Health Services
This programme supported the development of new maternal mental health services to help deliver meaningful outcomes and benefits from before conception to baby’s second birthday.

Psychosocial employment support for people with chronic conditions and pain
Part of the North East Combined Authority Economic (NECA) Inactivity Trailblazer, Ways to Wellness was funded by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to offer client-led support to people who felt unable to work due to pain or their health, to build confidence and skills for work.
